Upon Successful Closing of 1st World Grand Prix of Bloody Mahjong, Who Is the Winner for the Prize of RMB 200,000?
Finals of the 1st World Grand Prix of Bloody Mahjong, sponsored by the Mahjong International League and Chengdu Wanda City Investment Co., Ltd, co-sponsored by Ourgame International Holdings Limited and undertaken by the Beijing ShuiMu ZhiYu Technology Co., Ltd, ended in Chengdu Wanda City.
After three-day fierce fighting, Wen Yao, a beautiful female player from Beijing, turned the tables on the last day of event. Ranking fourteenth place among the Top Sixteen, she achieved the reverse-attack successfully, then stood out from more than two hundred players in the event, and finally became the champion and won gold medal & the prize of RMB 200,000. Player Lo Bo, ranking the second place, won the silver medal and the prize of RMB 100,000 with his excellent playing skills and rich playing experience. For the second runner-up, the winner was Player Li Xiaohong, who was a beautiful girl from the local Dujiangyan and equipped with the experience in bloody mahjong for decades. Taking her advantaged situations, she achieved the constant successes, and she thought that playing mahjong was a very proper way of enriching our cultural life.
Zhu Fu, the last-placed winner, was also rewarded with the prize of RMB 30,000 and the certificate of honor. At the same time, the top 5-8, 9-16 and 17-24 were also rewarded with the prize of RMB 20,000, RMB 10,000 and RMB 5,000 respectively, as well as the certificates of honor. It was worth mentioning that, Ji Yunchong, a member of Xiaoyaolong Team that was a winning team in the Global Mahjong Champions League held yesterday, ranked the eighth place again in today’s final event, it was just “a double blessing has descended upon the house”.
On the closing ceremony, guests present gave away the prizes and medals to the corresponding players that had obtained good rankings in the Global Mahjong Champions League, World Grand Prix of Bloody Mahjong and additional matches.
nMr. Damiani, Founder of IMSA and the General Counsel of Mahjong International League, was invited to deliver the closing address for the Grand Prix. In his speech, Mr. Damiani thought highly of the Mahjong International League regarding its remarkable contribution to promoting the mahjong into a mind sport; besides, he also imaged the scene that the mahjong would appear in the winter Olympics along with other mind sports. Additionally, he had particularly invited three young men to go up onto the stage and admired their great attribution in the mahjong cause. And those three young men included Li Wenlong, the Secretary-General of Mahjong International League, Zhang Zhangfei, the Treasure Director, and Xu Huaou, the Founder of Beijing ShuiMu ZhiYu Technology Co., Ltd.
The 1st World Grand Prix of Bloody Mahjong lasted for three months and 24 event days; and there were nearly 100,000 participants in total. So it could be called the “Mahjong Carnival” with the largest scale in history. Also, it was one of the global series promotion activities for advancing mahjong into the mind sports held by the Mahjong International League. Drawing players from more than a dozen countries in five continents, it was a truly global mind sport event.
Besides, this event was put on the synchronous live webcast through iQiyi, Youku, Netease and other major platforms, and thus attracted wide attention from the public. Since this live webcast had attracted six hundred thousand viewers for appreciating the video, it had influenced four million people and further formed numerous events hotly debated through the network.
