GMCL Will Kick Off Soon and All Championship Teams from the Five Continents Are Busy with Testing
From August 6 to 14, 2016, MIL Game Committee organized global test events of 13 sessionsin 9 matches in succession and attracted over 100 players from 10 countries and regions in five continents to engage in pre-testing and acclimatization training.
Taking experience from modes of electronic competitions, GMCL is committed to creating the first global and online platform-based competitive mahjong game. Pre-games in different rigions, lasting from August 17 to October 2, 2016, all will be held on MCR Duplicate Online designated by MIL and after online certification and testing, all championship teams from the five continents will break the limitation of time and space to enjoy free online competition.
To ensure a fair and steady network competitive environment for all global mahjong enthusiasts, MIL Game Committee has entrusted the operation team of MCR Duplicate Online to develop offshore network acceleration system (mahjong.pokermonster.com) and provided professional teams to solve technical issues for international players. 16 players in 4 teams will participate in each sessionof test event which will be held by the team duplicate format of competitive mahjong. Through successive 16-handbattles, network and signals of games are tested stable to fully ensure that players can enjoy the best network competition environment in the competition. Meanwhile, in the test events, all players have enhanced team-work spirit and learned their opponents to a certain extent, thus providing excellent opportunity for GMCL preparation and players’ battle preparation. Players of all countries have expressed that they are all expecting the commencement of GMCL official games.
Along with ongoing GMCL, MIL Game Committee will hold irregular practice games and generalization games in the interval of official games. Then, all teams and organizations are expected to register and participate to challenge all championship teams from the five continents.
